We have this so-called Fortune plant in my place that has never flowered before. The other night I came home and smelled a flower scent, which I mistook to be one of those scented oils we use to neutralize the air in the house after cooking. I didn’t bother to ask until I smelled it again tonight…and found out that our fortune plant finally flowered after all these years. It flowers only at night…
We were visiting an outlet mall last night and they had this flowering plant as part of their decor. The problem was, we cannot figure out whether the flower was real or not…either or, the flower was pretty.
The Wood Nymph looks similar to the Rice Paper, having translucent white wings that are edged and veined with black. However, compared to the Rice Paper, the Wood Nymph is considerably smaller and has more black on its wings. Wood Nymphs are native to Southeast Asia.
Flowers are all around us this time of the year…this one is blooming in my garden.
There are a variety of butterflies, each has its own attribute. Their beauty has stirred the hearts of many poets and lovers.
